Prices for website management

To get your website ranking as high as possible on Google and other search engines, a range of jobs need to be carried out regularly - which is why big companies employ webmasters full-time.

Some of the tasks that need to be done I have grouped into packs. You can pick and mix any of the packs as follows:

Essential regular tasks (Pack 1) £100 per month

  1. Updating the home page every week (as a minimum)
  2. Adding pages of relevant information (one a week)
  3. Changing images regularly.
  4. Adding seasonal icons and images.
  5. Running seasonal promotions/articles.
  6. Site statistics reports compiled monthly
  7. Making sure all pages are up to date, and removing any that are obsolete (Weekly basis)

Essential occasional tasks (Pack 2 ) £25 per month

  1. Checking for broken links
  2. Submitting website’s url (address) to directories and portals
  3. Adding links to useful external sites and where appropriate, seeking links from external sites.

Extra tasks which will help increase a website’s visibility (Pack 3) £75 per month

  1. Setting up and maintaining a Twitter account. (Weekly updates)
  2. Setting up and maintaining a Facebook business page. (Weekly updates)
  3. Running a blog. (Weekly updates)

Extras (Pack 4) £150 per month

  1. Writing a fortnightly newsletter to your customers.
  2. Creating an email campaign
  3. Creating and optimising a Google AdWords campaign

One off tasks

  • Ensuring that the website’s code doesn’t break DDA laws and advising on how to make it comply -  £100
