Writing for a website is a completely different way of writing than for printed media. It needs to be to the point, concise and in perfect Plain English. It also needs to encourage the reader to do something such as making a purchase, downloading a file or clicking through to another page.

I am an experienced copywriter and have written literally hundreds of pages of content for various websites over the last 10 years – possibly even into the thousands now!

I had a regular monthly column for Computer Shopper magazine entitled Club Scene which I wrote for two years, as well as occasional articles for Park Home and Holiday Caravan magazine.

Plain English is my passion as I’m keen to make sure that any website is accessible to all visitors. I write for my audience, not to show my command of the English language in all its glory (and weirdness!).
